HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL

This K-5 school was the first school project to bring circulation areas into a usable, courtyard without increasing enrolment rations.  This project was constructed well below the Department of Education's provincial guidelines.

Perhaps the greatest feature of this design is the details that allow natural light to flow into the building.  This is achieved using Clerestory windows in the atrium along with multiple light tubes.  The interior spaces become enriched with the sense of the outdoors and natural light.
