JMAA architecture was commissioned as Prime Consultant for the modernization, renovation and expansion of the existing Fire Hall #1.  This building was repurposed and expanded to fit the needs of the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association into a new multicultural center.  The new facility will incorporate new banquette halls, offices and multipurpose spaces.  The design is contemporary and plays off the original architecture of the existing Fire hall. Existing brick façade was repurposed as interior feature walls in many locations.  The new building is getting a lot of use in the community.
