CREEKSIDE +55 APARTMENT
This project was to construct a new affordable housing accommodations for Conwood Seniors Housing. The scheme incorporates a residential, three storey apartment that follows the curve of the city street. The units are developed as low income +55 living single + double bedroom accommodations. The building has been designed with both above ground parking and an underground, single storey, parking structure. The building plan is built around an interior parking and landscape area and community gardening both on site and on rooftop gardens is provided for the residents.
Tenants are able to enjoy several amenities both in the building and nearby. Restaurants, beauty salons + retail services are to the west on Gaetz and the Bower Place shopping centre is 4 blocks to the south. City bust routes also service the site. The outcome is a thriving aging in place master plan.
